Michelle Pfeiffer is returning to Hollywood. And this woman doesn't age!
After a temporary hiatus, the 58-year-old actress is lined up to debut “Mother!” opposite Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem, as well as “Murder on the Orient Express” with Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz and Daisy Ridley this fall. However, there’s another reason why Pfeiffer is appearing on the big screen again.
“Well, the first thing that comes to mind is I’m an empty nester now,” explained Pfeiffer to Interview Magazine. “I’ve never lost my love for acting. I feel really at home on the movie set. I’m a more balanced person honestly when I’m working. But I was pretty careful about where I shot, how long I was away, whether or not it worked out with the kids’ schedule. And I got so picky that I was unhirable. And then… I don’t know, time just went on.”
In addition to her upcoming film roles, she’s set to star as Bernie Madoff’s wife Ruth opposite Robert De Niro in the HBO docudrama, “The Wizard of Lies.” The movie will debut Saturday, May 20.
