DNCE Teases Potential Album And Talks Touring With The Jonas Brothers

I've been a fan of DNCE ever since they came out. I've always loved the fact that Joe Jonas chose to go the band route, and brought on trusted musicians who worked as touring musicians with The Jonas Brothers, really allowing them time to shine.

When Joe made the announcement back in February, I may have gasped out loud in excitement. Does this mean more Cake by the Ocean and party-vibe tracks? That song is an absolute bop.

DNCE actually teased their full return to new music by collabing with EDM artist, Kygo on Dancing Feet, and even made a guest appearance last week at Formula 1 Grand Prix at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium last week.

They're back though with new music of their own with the release of Move which dropped on Friday. And oooohhhh, it's everything you would want and expect from DNCE. Move is the first official single the band has released in 4 years which Joe co-wrote with Ryan Tedder. It's the first of what is expected to be a consistent rollout of new music (squeal!)

I think Joe, Jinjoo, and Jack were relieved my interview with them did not include my making them answer questions while running, although we know Joe is a fan of Peloton, in fact, Move was synced in a recent commercial.

The band and I did however get to move a bit for a Reel/TikTok after we sat down to chat.

If you're wondering about the timing of their new music, whether or not they have any shows planned, and/or the release of a full album - check out the full interview above. This was my first in-studio interview since the pandemic (sorry for any awkwardness or dad dance moves) and it was wonderful to share this special moment with a band I hold in such high regard.

DNCE delivers the feel-good times I think we've all needed for a while now. Move is currently on my iHeartRadio playlist and I can't wait to hear and add more tracks from them in the coming months.
