Jeff Bezos To Step Down As CEO of Amazon This Fall

Jeff Bezos, who started Amazon in 1994 as an online bookseller expanded the company to what it is today. Amazon sells more or less any product you can think of, has its own streaming-video service and lesser-known: is one of the world's largest website hosts.

It is worth $1.6 trillion. That's trillion with a "T".

Bezos announced that this fall, he'll be relinquishing his role as CEO and stepping down from his operational role. Instead, he'll transition to executive chair of Amazon's board, and we'll have a new CEO: Andy Jassy who is set to take over.

As I mentioned before, it's lesser known, but chances are, Amazon Web Services affects your life much more than any other Amazon division does. It hosts thousands of websites.

Do you use Amazon? How does it affect your daily life?
