If you were a fan of James Bay's first album "Chaos & The Calm," there are of course songs with you in mind on the new album due out in the next few months. However, expect a new direction for James as he takes a refreshing turn with influences from David Bowie to D'Angelo, Chance The Rapper, and Frank Ocean, someone James told our group he just recently discovered. He also worked with Adele songwriter Paul Epworth, who put some amazing finishing touches on a lot of the songs. As a music fan, I was blown away and can't wait to crank these songs up on the killer sound system in my living room at the house!
Below is a shot of a Baldwin piano in the same studio where Hans Zimmer worked on a lot of the music from "The Lion King," including Elton John's "Can You Feel The Love Tonight!". Bruno Mars recorded "24K Magic" in another studio down the hall! So exciting to have gotten the opportunity to be there.
