Getting older means being able to curb the uncomfy questions we get from friends and family members, right? Well, we SHOULD! But there are some territories that should just always remain uncharted. Either it’s our business and our business only, or the topic is just plain uncomfortable. We’ve all been at the other end of a terrible question. Try avoiding these 11 really awful questions (or at least practice some answers in advance):
- Why aren’t you dating anyone?
- How many sexual partners have you had?
- How’s the job search going?
- Why are you so dressed up?
- How are you?
- What ethnicity are you?
- Why are you getting married?
- When are you having kids?
- Are you sure you want to eat that?
- Why do you look so tired?
- How do I look in this?
And on the other side of the coin, it might be best to steer clear of ASKING any of these questions too. Unless your curiosity comes from a place of genuine caring, these questions can all in all be avoided.
