WEST JORDAN FIRE CREWS REMAINED AT AIRPORT NUMBER TWO FOR MUCH OF THE DAY, WEDNESDAY, AFTER A 2-ALARM BLAZE BROKE OUT, IN AN INDUSTRIAL BUILDING.

DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF REED SCHARMAN SAYS, THE LARGE STRUCTURE FILLED WITH SMOKE QUICKLY...AND TOOK HOURS TO CLEAR OUT.

WEST JORDAN... WEST VALLEY... AND UNIFIED FIRE DEPARTMENTS ALL RESPONDED TO THE BLAZE, JUST AFTER 7:30 WEDNESDAY MORNING.

THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE -- AND THE EXTENT OF DAMAGE -- WAS STILL BEING DETERMINED.

THERE ARE SEVERAL BUSINESSES INSIDE THE STRUCTURE.

NO ONE WAS INSIDE... AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES.
