If You Have an Amorous Amur Leopard, Hogle Zoo Officials Want to Talk to You

Posted August 21st, 2013 @ 11:05am by Talk Radio 105.7 FM / 570 AM

Hogle Zoo officials are on the lookout for a mate, for a new amur leopard.

The 14-month-old cat has been released from a month-long quarantine this week, after arriving from a Minnesota zoo.

There are only about 200 amur leopards, in zoos worldwide.  Only about 40 still live in the wild.

This cat was brought to the Utah zoo, in hopes of breeding.
