A UTAH JUDGE HAS DENIED A REQUEST TO LOWER BAIL FOR A TEENAGE GIRL, CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED MURDER IN A CRIME SPREE THAT CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A DEPUTY, ALONG WITH HER BOYFRIEND.

THE ATTORNEY FOR MEAGAN GRUNWALD, 17, SAID MONDAY, HIS CLIENT WAS AS MUCH A VICTIM AS ANYONE ELSE IN THE EVENTS ON JANUARY 30TH.

ATTORNEY DEAN ZABRISKIE SAYS GRUNWALD HAS NO CRIMINAL HISTORY AND IS STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL.

HE ASKED FOR BAIL TO BE LOWERED TO $100,000.

PROSECUTORS COUNTERED, SAYING HER $1-MILLION BAIL SHOULD NOT BE REDUCED, BECAUSE GRUNWALD WAS AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN THE CRIME SPREE, DRIVING THE CAR AS HER BOYFRIEND FIRED AT POLICE.
