Cottonwood Heights resident Thomas Cobb can keep those dozens of boa constrictors he has in his basement -- at least for now.

That's the word this week, from the city council...despite protests from neighbors, who are making a stink over the stink Cobb is making.

They say he cleans the exotic animals' cages over the gutter in front of the house -- and that's creating a "zoo smell."

City council members promised the upset residents they will review their exotic pets ordinance, and may add some new restrictions.
