Draper Prosecutors Dismiss 'Ag-Gag" Charge Against Animal Rights Activist

Posted May 1st, 2013 @ 11:33am by Talk Radio 105.7 FM / 570 AM

A Utah judge has dismissed a case against a woman, charged under a new state law that prohibits undercover filming on agricultural property.

Draper prosecutors had charged Amy Meyer, 25, with a misdemeanor, under the so-called "ag-gag" law.

But they later dropped the case, after reviewing additional evidence.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) had funded defense counsel for Meyer.
